Ujjawal Welfare Society proudly led the execution of the Jal Jeevan Mission in partnership with both the Central and State Governments, aiming to deliver safe and sustainable drinking water to every rural household by 2024.
🌍 Objective:
The core goal was to ensure Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC) for every family in remote and underserved regions—enhancing daily life, improving health, and reducing the burden of water collection, especially on women and children.

• Time saved now used for education and livelihood activities

• Awareness drives in over 50 villages across multiple districts
• Active involvement of Gram Panchayats, ASHA workers, and school volunteers
• Training workshops for village-level caretakers & plumbing teams
• Distribution of IEC materials on water safety and sanitation
